Coloring Page and the ideas of design
Coloring Site is one of the most original forms of artistic expression. Heading way back to the prehistoric times with the Lascaux Caves (a few of the first noted human Coloring Site), Coloring Page is practiced in all cultures around the globe and has been for hundreds of years. To keep it simple, we’ll showcase 19th and 20th century expressions to show how you can place the elements and guidelines of design to work.
The concepts of design are:
- Percentage and scale
- Repetition and pattern
- Unity and harmony
Balance is one of the most intuative and complicated design rule. It’s the way the musician creates a feeling of equilibrium in a design, by the way the objects in the design are arranged. You can find three major types of balance:
- Symmetrical/Formal Balance is when elements sit in such a way that two halves of the design (whether vertical or horizontal) are mirrors of the other person – both sides have the same weight. Its created around a central collection that bisects the look into two different halves.
- Asymmetrical/Casual Balance is when elements are positioned so that there is an uneven syndication of weight
- Radial Balance is when elements sit evenly around a central point
Percentage and Scale
The juxtaposition of elements of different sizes, or proportions, inside a masterpiece of design helps create a feeling of scale. Level can be used for multiple effects – whether to show a sense of space and depth or even to help make a dominant center point.
A huge part of fabricating depth in an image, and curiosity about a piece, is by using multiple contrasting elements – or varying elements set side by side. This is often done with color, form, size or texture.

Repetition and pattern
The usage of the same or a similar element repeated over and over can provide a work a sense of activity or composition. Where an aspect is comparable enough and repeated often enough, it can create a design.
Unity and harmony
The mixture of similar elements creates an aesthetically pleasing overall effect. While a lot of design elements are different, a dominant unity created by similarities in color, structure, structure or other elements makes the painting or design feel harmonious.

Bearbrick uses proportion and scale to produce asymmetrical balance. Elements of different size and form are positioned on a full page not to mirror the other person but to balance one another out. He creates distinction in the juxtaposition of brightly colored elements against a white track record.
Repetition is utilized in the positioning of the circles. This causes the viewer’s eyeball to move between elements to be able to impart the information the client wishes the audience to see. At the same time, pattern is used as a delicate depth in this group designs (in the flower routine of the “about us” button as well as the repeated lines circling other circular elements) to be able to build interest – so that the design can be simple without being boring.
And while the different components of the site find the user’s eyeball at differing times, the feminine style of the elements and the utilization of color make the site appear totally harmonious. The design has movements, depth, interest and brings the user’s eye to the most crucial information on the site – from the great example of an effective design.
